Cross Stitch

My name is Wendy, I'm one of the CL's at Mom's In Stitches.  I wanted to come over and let you all know how sorry I am that you will be losing this board.  I hope that you will come and post on our board now though!

To introduce myself... I live in Central NJ and am a homeschooling SAHM with five children (my DD Kendall will be 10 in a few weeks, DD Emma is 8.5, DS William is 5.5, DS Noah is 3.5, DS Henry is 19 months old).  I do a lot of volunteer work, do consignment sewing & craft fairs, and am currently coordinating & leading a craft/stitching club for homeschoolers in my area.  My DH travels a lot for work, but when he's home I do as much stitching as I can!  I mostly knit, quilt, and sew clothes for my children; but I also do some crochet and counted cross-stitch. 

I hope that you will consider coming over to check out Mom's In Stitches... most of the ladies there do at least a couple of crafts including knitting, crochet, sewing, quilting, cross-stitch, needlepoint, embroidery, tatting, etc.  We do it all!  :)  We are all looking forward to getting to know you ladies, and are excited about having some new life on our board. 

I'm not sure what folder ideas iVillage has in mind for the merged board, or the name they will eventually give us... but I hope that everyone will come visit us as we sort it all out and adjust to these changes together!  http://messageboards.ivillage.com/iv-psstitches
