1st, 2nd & 3rd Grade

Sorry if I am stepping on toes but I am bored LOL

Whats up today? What are you all up to? I am having a great day myself.

1)anxiously awaiting DD to get home from school so I can see her homework load. I got her spelling list of the internet (everydayspelling.com, don't be surprised if your kids list is there too) and made her a word search and a crossword with those words (crosswordpuzzlegames.com and www.armoredpenguin.com/wordsearch) to help her study. Word searches are supposed to be really good for helping with spelling because they require more actual letter concentration.

2)thankful my little kids are easy. I was able to lay both down awake and they just went to sleep. Cassidy STILL isn't that easy! LOL Especially grateful since both little kids are sick

3)still scratching my head over last night. My ped wanted my little 2 seen in the ER for symptoms. Bug has a nasty double ear infection and Miss Bailey a viral infection. Here's the head sratching part. The symptoms: fever (bug up to 102.5, Bailey 100.3), congestion, snotty nose, coughing, sneezing, Bug shaking. Exam: weight, temp, look in ears and down throat, listen to chest. They didn't test for anything. My moms friend was there at the same time with the same symptoms in her kids, except their temps were over 103. Same exact exam. No tests. H1N1 dx. How did they know without the swab? How did they know it wasn't say strep? Or plain ole flu? Also, neither of us saw an actual dr but rather 2 nurses and a nurse practitioner. They totally dismissed bugs shaking too. I will follow up with the ped on that. He wants to run some nuerological tests there.

4)God is good. DHs truck wouldn't start. Turns out it was the alternator. Absolutely no money. After last nights antibiotics we have $2 until Fri. DH called Autozone anyway just to price the part. Turns out when he and my brother replaced it 7 or 8 years ago my brother made him get the lifetime warrenty! Part was free! Truck is now running good again. Wooo Hooo!

5) found a new addiction. Cafe World on FB! LOL Now I have 2 farms and a cafe to tend to! LOL

Tuesdays are a busy day and early out of the house days' for me. I have to get Ryan to preschool by 8:25 in the morning then take the girls to school. I volunteer in the school on tuesdays with both girls teachers as well as Kaitlyn's teacher from last year. After that I got Ryan from preschool then went to the bank to deposit DH's pay check and then went to get a few things in the house that where on sale this week. Now Ryan is down for a nap and I am sitting here catching up on the board and watching my soap. Soon will be off to get the girls from school then home for a quick snack the to a neighbor before I head back to the school for Kaitlyn's parent teacher conference. Kaitlyn also has tutoring today so she will start that before we get back.

So that is my crazy day in a nut shell.

 

  

Hey Ladies?,

Things have been goin BETTER! lol Well all week Darrion has early dismissal. His conference is tomorrow. It should go well! Teacher said he has been doin well. I am so excited today because I will be helping coach 5th grade basketball girls. Definitely lookin forward to it!

My husband took the day off so I can get out into the wonderful traffic! :) Lookin forward to the weekend ! Goin to a halloween bash with my sister and her hang out partner. I am goin to be Fatima, the French maid! lol
