1st, 2nd & 3rd Grade

Today will be another busy day since I will be trying to get everyone packed to go to the river/Oyster Festival tomorrow. Need to make sure that the kids have warm cloths, jackets, hats ect. because they will be outside near the water so it will be cool. I need to try and finish laundry which I think I can do. Ryan has his first field trip today to learn about squirrels and how they hibernate. Who knew! After that i may take him to lunch depending on how well he does. DH had to go to Richmond, VA again to day and i told him just to stay since we would be going back up that way tomorrow for the river. We have gymnastics tonight for the girls and there is a very good chance I will have to take the boy with me, not looking forward to that. Kaitlyn also has tutoring and it really seems to be helping, I really hope she turns around. It's funny to listen to her read because if no one is around she does so much better. We are reading Airy Fairy together and when she is not thinking about it she takes off when she is self concisious that I am listening she messes up. I have seen improvement so that's all that matters.

Thoughtful Thursday
1. I cute out 39 different color feathers for the kindy class. I was helping the teachers not to have to do this work themselves.
2. I picked up my neighbor that was walking home from work so she did not have to walk the whole way home. This was even a neighbor I did not care for not to long ago but found she is very nice just shy to start.

 

  

 

We are getting ready to go to Ohio (from Chicago) for my stepdad's 70th birthday. We are leaving tomorrow at 2PM (pulling the kids out early) and stopping in South Bend to see one of my best friends, and Sam's godmother. We'll spend the night there, then head to Cleveland Saturday.

What have you done this week for someone else?

I watched a friend's son before school yesterday morning. I am "on call" today if a friend needs her dd picked up in case her annual pap runs late. I went and got dd19 from her college dorm (it's close)at 11PM Monday night because she felt sick, brought her home and stayed next to her on the couch until 2AM because she felt too sick to move. And I helped dd17 study french yesterday when I'd rather have been relaxing :) Oh, and I ordered a cake for the dinner we're taking my gf to on Friday night. It happens to be her birthday tomorrow, which is awesome that we're visiting then!

Not much goin on today. I just need to fold some clothes and get dinner on later. Darrion's homework is due tomorrow so I will get on that when he gets off the bus :) lol. Dishwasher was finally fized yesterday!! hallelujah!!! you never miss modern conveniences till they are gone!!

My Aunt and cousin are up here from Vegas so hopin to see them!hmmm done for someone else gooood one! lol let's see Oh i will be sending one of my best friends from childhood a care package! hot choco, magazines, beanie babie, juice boxes, tylenol...... She is in Singapore! goin out tomorrow
