actually this week is looking pretty good!! one of my friends from high school has a baby 3 weeks older than Piper. so crazy! he was in the nicu for awhile at the same hospital i had her, and one day dh was headed outside to smoke and she saw him! i had not seen her since we graduated in '95 :) so he is bringing him over and we are going to hang out and have a little grown up time!!!
THEN HOPEFULLY i will FINALLY get to meet my friend off here! craziest story-- we met on our ec board when we were around 20 weeks, live 10 miles apart, delivering at the same hospital, dd 2 days apart. she's 29 i'm 32. hit it off, started emailing back and forth daily comparing notes ad bs'ing. then texting every day a million times a day.
i went in to get induced on tues night at 6, and her water broke at 4 am weds. she had Keaton at 4:42, I have Piper at 5:07. right down the hall from each other. then we had a million visitors the next day and were tired, and friday they whisked me right out the door at 9 am, so we still never met. every time we have tried to get something going, one or the other has something come up. so we are trying once again!!!!! lol
so it looks like this week is just playdates for june babies born at hillcrest:)
