At p/t conferences they told us brenna was turning work in late.. that's why she had all these As and then Ds and Fs on random homeworks (they dock points for being late).. so we had this big talk with her. well they just sent home another grade sheet for each class and instead of late work she's got all these zeros for not turning the work in at all. she does the work though so I don't get how she can lose it on the way to school?

but i'm pissed. we bought her a folder specifically for homework and I hope that helps. she had this week to magically get her grades up to Cs or she doesn't get to spend the night at her friend's or go to a halloween party as she's had planned for weeks now.

she's been grounded a little over a week now, and if zac has his way she'll be grounded till the next report card comes out.

I won't be able to handle that.

I don't know what her deal is. all her test scores and the stuff she turns in are all As.

can I beat her? hehe i'm soooo frustrated.

How old is Brenna? I know my sister use to get just as mad at my nephew for this. He would pick one class - and just not do the homework for that one and a different class every report period! Drove her crazy. He'd be getting As & Bs at the midterm of each report period and then end up with a D or F for not turning in his homework.

I always liked Bill Cosby's theory of grounding the kids at someone else's house! If I'm mad or frustrated with them, I don't want them around that much more. ;-)

Wow! Brenna is just like me! lol Sorry, I used to do that. I used to do all the work in class and get A's and take tests and get A's and then just not do my homework. But if she's doing it, I really don't know what's happening to it.

Tell her you're going to keep in close contact with her teacher. Track her homework, MAKE her do it, and tell her you will contact the teacher to find out if she handed it in. Maybe that'd work?
