Any walkers out ther?  Last week I went through 2 pedometers and decided to just keep track of how long I walked.  Here's my update:

Monday: 488 steps I don't think so!  Pedometer #1 in the trash.  Walked 1.5 hours in addition to daily around the house stuff.

Tuesday: walked 2 hours plus daily stuff

Wednesday: 6000'ish steps

Thursday: 7000'ish steps

Friday: Pedometer # 2 in the trash.  Walked 1 hour

Saturday: walked 45 min

Sunday: walked 2 hours

Just doing stuff around the house I was probably getting about 3000 steps.  My goal for this week is to walk 1-2 hours every day and to start going up hills.

Yeah pedometers for the most part suck. I do know that 1 mile = approx 2000 steps (depending on your stride).

Monday - No pedometer but walked 1 mile

Tuesday - 9300 steps

Wed- 6000ish

Thursday - 9500 steps

Friday- 6000ish

Saturday - I did the race for the Cure so walked a little over 4 miles plus every day walking

Sunday - 5000 ish (taking a day off)

My goal for this week is to try to walk at least 3 miles every day and to add 15 min of super Cardio.

I lost 1# last week.

Alright, let me try sending this again!  I tried once but it didn't send...

Tues: 7068 steps

Wed: travelled 350 miles over about 6 hours alone with baby so not much walking done

Thurs: forgot to attach pedometer

Fri: 11590 steps

Sat: 17825 steps

Sun: 13495 steps

Mon: about 6000 steps

I am travelling home tomorrow so # of steps will be low.  This is a good challenge!

Gisele :)

I'm doing horrible!  I need to do better :o)  I still can't find my pedometer (just moved last week), but here's what I did last week:

W:  2 mile walk

T:  walked for 2 hours indoors

F:  1 mile walk

S:  2 miles

S:  2 hours of shopping... does that count, lol

M:  nothing- I was so tired  I could barely function

Gotta keep myself motivated!  :o)

how is the walking going ladies? My pedometer is sucky too, but at least it gives me SOME idea of what i am doing. it LARGELY depends on what pants I am wearing. There is one pair that I have that makes the P work wonderfully. The others just don't keep track well for some reason. Must be where i am wearing i. Try it on your pocket to see if you get good results there.

There is a cool website called TRAINSTER that allows you to keep a record of your walking steps. Pretty cool. I have done 17,000 step so far since Tuesday. Trying to walk more but it is still a bit chilly here in Central Ohio (about 50-60 degrees and very windy some days) . I mostly walk without Esther b/c she can't stand the cold for too long.

Keep up the good work!
