i just wanted to let you ladies know about some changes for me and dh, and ask for praises and prayer!
as some of you know, dh and have been struggling financially and scrambling to get jobs in line that would pay our bills, but also keep us from needing too much childcare. well, about a year or 2 ago, dh had put in an application at this one place, asking for overnights. well, randomly, out of the blue, they called him on tuesday! they're still looking for overnights. so, i was concerned that we'd never have any time together and he'd never get any sleep. but, the job is 10 pm - 6 am, and it's right by our house, so no conflict with my schedule. he can be home all day with the kids. and even better, it's mon-thurs, so we'll still have weekends off together!!! this call came completely randomly, so we KNOW it's a God thing! it came just when we were at a really stuck point in figuring everything out! so, praises for all that, and it pays enough to pay our bills!
now for the prayers - please pray that we can adjust to this new schedule pretty well, and that the kids will continue to adjust. this job will allow us to pay our current bills, but the past couple months have put us a bit behind. so, please pray for blessings that will allow us to get caught up and also give the kids a nice (not crazy... just nice) christmas. things are starting to look up, and i give God the credit! but, there's also my human side that wants everything to be good and ok right now. so, maybe you should pray for some patience for me too lol! thanks!
