Hey Christa...I popped back in there hours after we were chatting...our conversation was STILL there.  Does that mean that it saves/posts our conversations indefinitely?  It kind of creeps me out to think that *anyone* could go in there hours after we were chatting and see exactly what we were talking about?  No more talking about Trolls behind their backs?  ha!

Also, can *anyone* just pop in there and make up any ol' name?  Just curious.

Thanks again for setting that up so quickly.  Hopefully we'll all start gabbing in there soon.

Well... they have to know the exact link and the password.  Also, we can clear the room when we're done which erases the convo. I forgot to do that, sorry!  So we can still talk about trolls. lol

Mama ~ I looked into it more and I can change the settings to be invitation only, meaning if someone wanted to join we could send them an invite. Also, there is a setting so users can clear the room and erase the chat, I just need to log on as administrator and set that up.  The way you do it is type " /clear"  in the dialog box and hit enter.  Chatzy is having server errors right now so i'm having a tough time loggin in but once I get in I'll change the settings

Thanks, Christa for getting this set up.  I hate it that ivillage is closing down the chat rooms.  I haven't heard why.

THANK YOU Christa...I don't mind that anyone can join at all--the more the merrier!  But it WOULD be great to be able to "clear" the room before we leave, no?  I don't want to have to mind my "p's and q's" in chat! ;)
