Hi all!
Thought I'd introduce myself. My name is Christy and I'm mostly an etsy seller though I do dabble in some ebay now and then (usually just to get rid of extra clutter round the house). I had a baby girl almost 9 months ago (time really has flown since I had her) and started making bows for her to stop people from asking the ever so present question "is it a boy or girl?" (which even gets asked if she's in a pink dress with pink frilly socks unless there's a bow present...and even then some people have the gall to ask if she's a boy) A few friends really liked the bows and asked if I'd make some for them and then that turned into more people asking and so I started up an etsy shop called Tickled Pink Hairbows. I make all kinds of bows from simple little baby bows to big ol boutique style bows and pride myself on keeping the prices reasonable (have you been to some of the boutiques with bows--they are OUTRAGEOUSLY priced, I mean, come on people--it's mostly ribbon!)
I recently started dabbling a bit into appliques and embroidery (single name personalizations on onesies and such) and those things are slowly making it up to the shop (the tie applique is my big one right now but there will be more added within the week). My husband is in seminary and I decided to stay home with our sweet girl about 4 months ago and so I use this business to help generate a little extra income for us.
