Emma is also almost a month old and I just started tummy time this week. She already tries to hold her head up when she is laying on my chest so I thought we would try it. She doesn't like it for very long, she'll only tolerate it for about 5 to 10 minutes before she is ready to move on to something else.
I've been doing it since he first came home. At first he would just fall asleep on the floor (lol) but now he's working on lifting his head and sometimes even his chest. He's almost 6 weeks old.
i have done the same as you..ive given abby tummy time since she came home..she can pick her head up all the way now and she also has been able to roll over from front to back and back to front since she was 2wks old(when we took her in to her docs appt, the person checking us in said, are you sure shes only 2 wks? cuz she was rolling all over the place and picking up her head LOL
