Monopoly Deal!
Family Game night has transformed into Family Game Weekend.
We tried out the card games this weekend and Monopoly Deal was the clear favorite. A few games of that quickly inspired a round of Classic Monopoly, Circa 1961. This old board game is still entertaining our family after being around when my parents bought it before I was born.
But we went back to the card game because it was quick, easy and a lot of fun.
Scrabble Slam was ok, but I really think we need more than two people to really get the most out of it. DD8 enjoyed both card games a lot.
They were a little much for DS4 of course, because he is too young yet. However, we were inspired to pull out the Uno cards for a few rounds that he could enjoy with us.
