We homeschool, and use games to reinforce many skills. It seems like there are games for just about every topic under the sun, and learning is just more enjoyable when it is fun. There are also the life lesson type things that are learned as well.
I like the 'life' lessons my kids learn from games. Most of the games have some sort of lesson. What I like best is that the kids don't realize they are being taught.
