we had our game night tonight and it went really well. we first played gestures and dh and i took turns acting and the other one and the girls would guess. after a few rounds the girls were ready to act a little themselves. i had to read to them and help them with what to do, but they loved it.
next we played clue secrets and spies. dh and i had preplayed this one to know how to help let the girls play. we had teams one of us with a girl. we did all the stratigizing and the girls moved all the pieces, used the light, etc. they loved getting to play with us and felt like they were the ones actually playing.
we will definantly play gestures with the girls again. we would probably only play clue with them if they asked to. i plan to take these games to my family's house to try them out with my siblings. we'll see how that goes.
over all it was really fun for everyone, we had a great time.
