Is recycling offered in your area and do you take advantage of it?  Are there only certain things that you will recycle?

Unfortunately there is no comprehensive recycling program avaible in my area, if there was I would use it.

The only things we have are bottle depo's which take anything with a deposit.  And Save-on-Foods takes certian brand packaging, milk jugs, and anything non-alcholic with a deposit.  The Liquor Store also takes things.  I generally use Save-on Foods and the Liquor Store.  I compost prettymuch anything I can and I generally burn all my newspaper as fuel for my wood stove.

Our area recycles - I recycle anything I can get my hands on.
Even at work - I try my best to reuse things.
Papers used for updates on modulars.
I cut up the 8x10 paper into 4 squares and use for scratch paper.
I love to make things from trash to treasures especially using things to recycle.

Hello everyone,

we recycle anytime we can, paper, cans, glass plastic, we reuse anything we can and even cloth diaper, anything we can do. it actually still surprises me how many people dont take a more active role in recycling or even just to reuse things more.

We really have a great recycling program in our area, we're very lucky.  Paper, bottles, cans, jars, etc. is collected every two weeks.  While I do recycle glass and plastic, I am really over the top about paper.  I can't believe people who have availability to recyling would rather just throw it away rather than put it in a box and recycle it and save some trees.
