I was cleaning the kitchen and thought I'd share this tip. If you wet a rag and put it in the microwave for 30 seconds, you can then use it (be careful it will be hot!) to wipe the microwave clean. You won't even need to use any cleaning produces!

If you have any other easy cleaning tips, please share them with us!

I keep a spray bottle with straight distilled vinegar in each bathroom.  And after a shower, we all spray down the tub/shower.  This has made it easier to keep clean in the long run, and requires less elbow grease on my part.

that is all I can think of right now.  I caught DD's cold and my brain is just blah today.

Those are great ideas! The microwave trick is like the cleaners they sell for the microwave. Makes perfect sense that a plain ol' cloth would do the same thing!

And using vinegar in the shower is a great idea! I use to use that daily shower spray but got grossed out at it hitting my skin. I wouldn't mind the vinegar hitting my skin so much.

Hope you're feeling better soon Anna!

Thanks for the tip. I used to use that Method shower spray stuff but the scent just made me choke. I'll give the vinegar a shot!

vinegar doesnt smell so great at first, but it really does help keep soap scum and other residues down to a minimum and also it is skin friendly ( a big plus for me and my eczema).  I have also noticed that the bathroom always seems fresh when I go in there.

The cold is gone.  But DS got hurt lastnight at his football game, so we are now exhausted from spending many hours at the ER and his arm is now in a sling for 2 weeks.  The good news is, nothing is broken just really badly sprained.

Another thing I thought of, instead of bath mats, we use hand towels.  I usually just throw them in the wash daily with some vinegar as well.  We keep a large pile in all 3 bathrooms and use them when we shower.  A lot like they do in hotels.
