Pregnancy scare already?!
It is so WAY too early for this!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Here's the story:
DH and I have been having sex since about 4 weeks postpartum (what can I say? I'm a horny woman!), started out trying a condom, but ended up just pulling out after that because we both hated how it felt (stupid, I know, but it gets worse).
Last Monday was my 6 week check up, made an appointment for an IUD, and got the mini pill in the meantime. Took my first pill on Monday, planning to wait the full 48 hours for it to kick in.
Until Monday night, when I very, very stupidly let it happen. Not even an "oops" moment, more of a "Well, I really shouldn't be able to get pregnant only 6 weeks after having her, I'm nursing exclusively, I did already start the pills....." I debated trying to get the morning after pill the next day, but found out I'd actually need an appointment and prescription for the thing. So, I decided not to worry about it............
Until Friday, when I started spotting. More spotting today and I'm terrified it could be implantation bleeding. My online friends have been calming me down, talking about their random spottings after birth and while breastfeeding, etc.
I know it's too early to test. I'm thinking I'll give it a full two weeks, if I can wait that long......
I have a 2 year old and an almost-7 week old. What the hell was I thinking?????????????????
