Why is the Right Wing exaggerating the crowd size at all the Tea Parties? I've heard that the "offical" estimate is 3,000 to 4,000 for the protest in Washington yesterday. Then you read this:
< Earlier today, FreedomWorks joined 25-35 thousand Americans gathered at the Capitol building to protest Nancy Pelosi's (D-Cali.) proposed takeover of the American health care system. >

http://www.freedomworks.org/blog/mclemente/10s-of-thousands-meet-on-capitol-hill-to-protest-h
(more in the link)

IMO 3,000 to 4,000 people is a respectable protest, especially since it seemed like the one yesterday was rather last minute (or maybe I just wasn't hearing anything about it LOL).

What do you think? Why would they make those exaggerations on size? Makes you wonder what else the Right Wingers might be exaggerating...you know, size-wise ;) (sorry, couldn't resist!)

lol--what else they are exaggerating. lol.

I have no idea what the point is.  I am tired of all the lies!  I mean I understand that people with different political views might have different versions of the same event but you wouldn't think that translated into differences in the number of people present!  huh?

I would say it was to make themselves seem more important.
