Liberal Parenting

Are you watching the Republican National Convention?  Catching the highlights on the news/ internet?  Avoiding it like the plague?

I for one can't handle watching it, it makes my blood boil!  I am interested in what Sarah Palin will be saying tonight though, but won't watch it (besides Project Runway is on, LOL). 

So I wonder if you all will be catching it?

I am watching parts and clips.  I can't stand very much.

I found it really funny that this morning on MSNBC they were dishing about it and called night 1 a real snoozer - and the president of the United States was the speaker! 

Oh, and his speech was absurd.  He threw in every line he's used for the last 7 years.....stood on a pile of rubble that were buildings, Iraq, safety, security, protect the American people.  Do you feel protected by that man?  Um, I don't.  Not mention how silly he looks when he tries to smile for applause you can't hear.  That was downright funny.

Laura Bush spoke about Palin's qualifications and she listed like three things and then just proceeded to repeat them over and over again.  My husband kept saying "and she did what else?....."  Don't get me started on Lieberman. 

They are basically spouting the same bologna as they've been spouting for the last 8 years and it's a record that's scratched, broken, proven not to play, and they still think people will buy it.

I feel like they are trying to sell water to a drowning nation.

They were also saying this a.m. that it looked like his speech was pre-taped because of that and he didn't stop talking when there was applause.
