Just curious as to what your "letdown" feels like.  At first I thought I didn't feel it.  Now I wonder ...  I always have had a random-seeming tingly/stinging sensation on my nipples and a little under them.  It lasts a few minutes or longer.  Is this letdown?  I don't necessarily all of a sudden feel fuller.  I don't know if I start leaking right after this. I do leak sometimes, like if it has been too long since last time I nursed.  Or if I get out of a hot shower.  I run to the pump so I don't waste it. 

What does your letdown feel like?   TIA :)

for me it happens about a minute after she starts sucking and sometimes 2 or more times if the feeding is a long one. It only lasts about 30 seconds for me. It can also be triggered for me by certain sounds or even thinking but I can't 'make' it happen.

For me, it is a tingly feeling something like when your arm or leg falls asleep but more subtle and it is accompanied by a full and kind of 'rushing' feeling. My milk leaks or sprays out.

It's a pins and needles sensation for me followed by a feeling of fullness in my breasts and then my milk spurts out.  It's usually a little painful for me.

I nurse DD every 2 & 1/2 to 3 hours during the day (unless she asks for earlier).  At the 2 hour mark (or if she starts crying about something), I get what kinda feels like electric currents that run from the top of my breast to the nipple and will keep throbbing for what seems like a long time but its prob only 10 seconds or so.  I used to start leaking immediately but I am slowly weaning off so now I don't leak as much.  I never feel the milk rushing in or filling up.  I actually hate the feeling, its weird and painful!
