OK I thought that vaginal dryness was typical during nursing. What if things seem quite the opposite--almost like I would be while ovulating, but all the time? There is nothing to indicate anything is "wrong" like an infection. I did have unprotected sex and am nursing full time. I had a panic I got myself pregnant. Any thoughts?

I was the same w/ my first. It changes w/ each baby. You could be dry for one and all lubed up after another! Do be careful though, while it's rare, you can get pg before your first period!

When I went in for my 6 week check up my OB commented that I had some extra lube/discharge. He said that is normal for bf moms.

I've never had a problem with dryness and breastfeeding with any of my kids. I don't think it happens to everyone.

I haven't experienced that or really heard of it. I bf exclusively but we still use condoms because I don't even want to risk it. I AM DONE! A friend of mine just had her 6th and doesn't use formula at all and she gets her periods back at around 6 weeks pp so bfing amennorhea isn't 100% reliable, as you probably know. As for the lubie-ness, I say enjoy it! Sex hurts for me because of the dryness so I wish I had your problem (unless it's truly a problem and something is wrong).
