Does anyone have any good solutions for cradle cap? I usually put baby lotion in my baby boy's hair after baths to tame the curls lol, but he still has cradle cap. Any proven solutions?

In the NICU with our daughter, the nurse solution was baby oil all over the head and then to gently comb out the flakes with a baby comb.  It worked for us, but DD had a very mild case.

Good luck!

The doctor told a friend of mine to use Head and Shoulders shampoo. She said it worked really well.

My only suggestion is DON'T use the Cradle Cap shampoo. That stuff smells absolutely horrible and was a total waste of money!! It was like $7 and didn't even work.

I just sprayed detangler on top of Calebs head, and wiped it with a baby wipe. It worked. That cradle cap shampoo made his head stink for like 3 days. Ugh! LoL

I followed Heide's suggestion from another time she posted what to do (baby oil and the comb) and it works, but I used a soft bristled brush and just slowly and softly went over it a million times. After that Ryan hasn't had cradle cap at all... it's been like 3 weeks!
