My son is starting to smile, now that he is 6 weeks old. I find that he doesn't really make eye contact with anyone yet, but smiles when he is just hanging out by himself. I drove 20 minutes with him and saw in the rear view mirror that he was completely awake and smiling by himself much of the time. I don't remember dd doing this. It just seemed strange. Should I be worried that he isn't making eye contact or following an object yet?
