Ok all you BF/pumping ladies, I need some help here. I've been pumping, and trying to BF but DS doesn't have a good latch and screams like you're trying to kill him because of it since day 1. So pretty much I just pump now. And its been going well and getting plenty of milk, but these past few days my supply is running way low. I'm not even making enough to get thru the day now. Last night I had to mix BM with formula so he got enough food. What can I do to give my milk a boost? I called my doc but he was completely useless. All they said was drink some kind of tea you buy at a health food store (starts with an f, have it written down) that might help me in a few days. I told them I cant drink tea becuase it gives me HORRIBLE stomach cramps, and they had no other advice for me. I've tried pumping more frequently, that's not helping, tried hot showers, tried BF more but DS just is not diggin that, I'm drinking so much fluids I pee like I'm pregnant still...I just dont know what to do. Any ideas at all? I'm so at a loss here. TIA!

He probably told you about Fenugreek. I've been taking the seeds (soaked in water for a couple of hours) - about 1.5 teaspoons thrice daily, swallowed with a gulp of water, and it has really boosted my supply. My baby had latching problems too, right from the start, and my milk supply got off to a slow start because of that.

Other foods that will naturally boost your milk supply:
1) oatmeal
2) beer - even light beer (my SIL swears by this, she once drank half a glass of bud lite at a party and became so engorged she had to go to the bathroom and hand-express the milk out)
3) anything with brewer's yeast in it
4) cream of wheat
5) most green, leafy veggies

Yeah that's what he told me about, the fenugreek. I picked up the capsules the next day and have been taking them. And man, whoever told me that they can make you smell like maple syrup wasn't kidding! I kept trying to figure out this morning why the heck I kept smelling breakfast all over the house, then I was like, OMG its me!!! I haven't noticed any increase as of yet, actually less, but I'm hoping it takes a few days or something.

I've got oatmeal on the grocery list, and I'll give the beer thing a try this weekend. Been craving one anyway, lol. Thanks for the tips!

The fenugreek capsules worked for me but they really upset my stomach.  Oatmeal also worked, as did increasing the length of pumping sessions (pumping for a bit after I ran "dry").

Have you taken a look at the site kellymom.com?  Here's a link to one page that might be useful although it doesn't deal with exclusively pumping:  http://www.kellymom.com/bf/pumping/pumping_decrease.html  Also, ivillage has an Exclusively Pumping message board, you might want to post your question there.
