We eat leftovers if we have them, I usually pack them for lunches.

Lately I have been making bulk of certain things like chicken so I can reuse it in another meal.

We do not like spaghetti leftovers.

I feel like things have changed since the economy, we are doing alot more casseroles and crock pot meals that last awhile.

I grew up eating left overs sooo much that I HATE THEM now. I only like a few things like stew, or chili left over. ( oh and dessert!)

I use the crockpot a lot too, but more out of convienience since my chief cook is gone to Korea for a whole dang year. : (

Does your family eat leftovers? DH and I grew up very differently. My family always ate leftovers. His family ate out almost every night and never had food in the house. I hate the idea of wasting food, so I at least eat leftovers. And I LOVE holiday leftovers. I'll make more than we need just so I have leftovers to eat. :)

Do you 'remake' them into something else? Sometimes. It depends on what the leftovers are. I sometimes make soups and casseroles.

Are there certain things you like better or really DONT like as a left over meal? I'm trying to think of things I don't like. I know that there are a few things that I just can't do as leftovers, but I can't think of them. Darn brain today!

Has the economy changed your habits about eating left overs? I'm really trying to have us eat better and more economically. DH is so against leftovers and it's a struggle, but he's getting a little better about it. We've had talks about it being one of the ways we can save money and I think that that is finally clicking with him.

Does your family eat leftovers? Yep, sure do!

Do you 'remake' them into something else? Sometimes, it depends on what it is.

Are there certain things you like better or really DONT like as a left over meal? Not really. The only thing I really don't like is anything pasta-based that's more than 24 hours old....it just gets dry. If the noodles are plain, though....it's time for fried noodles (they're actually pretty good!).

Has the economy changed your habits about eating left overs? Not really.

Does your family eat leftovers? Yep!

Do you 'remake' them into something else? Everything can go into a stew, lasangne or casserole!

Are there certain things you like better or really DONT like as a left over meal? Roasted potatoes.  They never reheat and taste good to me again.  I make one roast beef into stew, french dips, pot pie and as meat in a casserole.  A whole bunch of left over ham can become scrambled eggs with cheese, a "breakfast pie" which is ham, eggs, cheese topped with tator tots or left over mashed potatoes put in a pie crust.  Ham also becomes a Benedict casserole which is ham, torn up English muffins and eggs and milk, baked up fluffy and topped with hollandaise sauce.  Of course it also becomes Montey Cristo sandwiches or Ham and Cheeses.

Has the economy changed your habits about eating left overs? Not me I'm just plain thrift, but it's starting to get James attention.  He grew up a tad spoiled and doesn't have a good understanding of how to stretch a dollar till it's nearly see through.
