Over 35 with Young Kids

We had a fun Halloween.  We went trick or treating with our neighbors.  It was pretty cold out, so the kids didn't want to stay out very long.  We got back to my house and everyone hung out and ate chilli, corn dogs (for the kids), and of course they broke into the candy.  My sister/BIL and a few more friends came over, and we opened a few bottles of wine.  It was lots of fun.

I let Zach have a few pieces of candy each day after Halloween.  Lucky for me, he isn't really a "candy kid".  He likes eating fruit more than candy.

Nice halloween weekend.  We stayed home.  Took Austin Saturday night to trick r treat. Lots of candy.  My biggest problem is keeping the older two brothers out of his candy. LOL

Today I have a conference with Austin's teacher.  She requested it. So I don't know exactly what this is going to be about.  I'm a little nervous. LOL

Hey Chris!  That sounds like fun!  DYK I have never had a corn dog?  Never seemed appealing to me.  I love chilli though.

Sam loves fruit too, but not over candy.  She gets a piece after ever meal/healthy snack and one before bed, so maybe 4 or 5 a day.  At non-Halloween times she is only allowed one candy a day, but she is also allowed cookies.  If I didn't let her eat more candy at Halloween, I would end up eating it.  Not good!

Last night we made Thanksgiving shirts for all of us.
