Hi All...   How is your week going so far?

What TV shows will you be watching this season?

Zach woke up last night crying.  He said his head hurt.  After I calmed him down, I got him to take some Tylenol and put him up in my bed.  He didn't have a fever, but I could tell he was in pain.  He slept restlessly last night, but woke up feeling ok.  He has had a cold for almost 2 weeks now.  I asked him if he wanted to go to school this morning and he said yes.  I told his teacher to call me if he is not feeling well.  DH and I both have colds as well, but so far, no fevers for any of us.

This TV season, I am watching Survivor, V, Flash Forward, The Amazing Race, and Lost if it ever comes back on.  I also want to watch Fringe again, but don't know when it will be coming back on yet.  We are big TV watchers in my house.  Must have something to do with the long MN winters.

Could he have a sinus infection?  That can cause headaches.  Plus, two weeks is pretty long for a cold.  Might want to call the dr.

Hi ladies...yes, I'm still alive!

Chris, I'm sorry Zach had a rough night.  It must've been a pretty painful headache if it woke him up :(

Jason's had a cold for a while now and it started to clear up Monday, but then Tuesday he was laid out again, which told me it was a sinus infection.  He suspected it and was trying to ride it out so it would go away on it's own, but when he told the doctor that she said that if he's had it for 2 weeks then it wasn't going to go away on it's own.  He seemed much better this morning after only 1 or 2 doses of amoxicillin.

I've had a cold or something, too, since Friday. Or maybe it's allergies (I have weird allergic reactions). Basically, my eustacian tubes are all swollen and my sinuses feel tender and over the weekend it was really painful.  By yesterday I was feeling better, only needed Motrin a couple times.  Honestly, I also suspect a sinus infection but it's nothing like what DH is going through.  I go to see my ENT in a week or so; he'll be able to tell if there's an infection up there.

We haven't watched much TV this season.  Our TiVo is set to record Burn Notice (which is over until January), Psych, and How I Met Your Mother; we watch them in little batches as we have time.  We used to be HUGE movie watchers and have an extensive collection, but we don't get much time to watch uninterrupted anymore.

Laurie,  Zach's colds usually last 2 weeks.  His nose isn't runny anymore, but he still has a cough that is more prominent in the morning.

He did well at school today.  He seems to be feeling fine today.
