Over 35 with Young Kids

Omg  So glad it is Friday.   Tyler's team won last night  they went undefeated.  This Ft Hood shooting has really scared Austin.  Our school were under soft lock down yesterday.  He over heard some of the teachers talking about Ft Hood and he knew that his daddy goes on post a lot for deliveries.  Which he was actually there on Wednesday.  So now he will not let us leave him.   I'm going to stay at school with him for a while today then go to the pep rally at school. ( Honor the seniors )  Then we have the funeral for Ramon's co-worker on Saturday.

Hi Kelly,  That is such an awful thing that happened at Ft. Hood.  I hope Austin starts feeling safe again at school.

Congrats to the football team!!!

Zach did well with his OT apt yesterday.  The therapist did a bunch of test on him, and asked me a bunch of questions.  She said it can take up to 2 weeks to get the evaluation approved by the insurance company to see what course of therapy they will authorize.

DH got home late last night.  I was already in bed sleeping, so I saw him this morning when I woke up.  Zach is happy that Daddy is home.

We don't have much planned for the weekend.  Zach and I will be going to NYC with DH next week.  We will fly out on Monday, and back home on Friday.  I'm excited.  I will have my computer, so I will be checking in.

Last night, Mike and I went out to Cracker Barrel (sp. looks wrong) and for the first time had Lari awake, and she was in a high chair, and SHE LOVED the experience. Then went shopping and she was still in a great mood, and then was so worn out, finally put her thumb in her mouth (altho she is a paci baby) and put her fist on the cart bar, and put her head down and completely all of a sudden CONKED out. Mike picked her up and held her. She was so cute. And she hadn't gotten grumpy at all. Then got home she was up about hour and half, went to bed, and slept 9-6!!! And that has maybe never happened. I don't think so anyway, but it may have once. YAY!!!!!!! I figure I slept about 1030-6 so YAY for me.  WOOHOO!!! I am just so happy .... I am hoping (PLEZ OH PLEZ) that this is going to be a regular thing. But, Nan didn't sleep the night til 18 months, so I'll live if not.
