Austin and I will be getting one flu shot.  I've never heard of getting 2 per season.

As for the H1N1, I'm undecided, but leaning twoards NOT getting it.  I haven't researched anything, but its awfully new and we don't know of long-term effects of it.  We practice good hygiene, but he attends daycare and I work in a nursing home.  I'm on the fence about it.

i have been reading up on it and it is recommended that everyone (or maybe it was just kids under 5, but either way) gets 2 shots for each flu. each shot is supposed to be spaced 1 month apart so the process should take 3 months total.

we arent getting any this year. We are uninsured and jobless...we just dont have the money for us all to get all 4 shots. We cant Even afford 1 for everyone right now.

Hey Chelsea, I hope Bobby finds a job very soon!

We are doing 1 for seasonal and 2 for H1N1.  Our doctor told us that kids only need two for seasonal if it is their first time for the shot.  Evie had hers last year so this year we only did 1.  And we did the FluMist which is awesome.  I would take that any day over a shot.

DH and I are also have gotten our seasonal shots.  The only thing that we are waiting for now is the H1N1 for all of us.

Emery can't get her shots yet because she is only 3.5 months and you have to be at least 6 months.

Thanks to court296 for the beautiful signatures!
