February & March 2007 Sweet Muffins

I was just thinking about asking this yesterday.  My SM has only been napping about every third day.  But she NEEDS it every day.  On the days she doesn't, I make her stay in her room for at least 45 minutes and play on her bed.

The other day, DH tried to put her down for a nap.  He told her to have a "happy nappy," put up the gate at her door, and left.   Five minutes later she was at the gate yelling, "Daddy! I had my happy nappy, and I'm sooooo HAPPY!!!!!!!  He told her she couldn't possibly have taken a nap yet, and she replied, "But I'm fresh out of naps."      LOL       

Caden stopped taking a daily nap about 3 or 4 months ago. He will take one is he has had a busy day or maybe in the car. Maybe once a week if I am lucky. I so miss nap time. I think some days he still needs one but refuses to because he thinks he is going to miss something. I have noticed since we spend more time inside he don't sleep as much at night. He has been sleeping about 9 or 10 hours at night.

I wish he would sleep more but maybe he will be lucky and take after my dad. My dad only needs 6 hours of sleep a night and wakes up on his own. Me I would sleep 8 maybe 9 if I didn't have to get up. My husband needs 9 or 10. So I hope he takes after my dad.
