We got the autopsy report back on Tuesday. Angela died from acute pneumonia. I can't believe it. I was totally shocked and a mess that whole day. I talked to Spencer (thank you, thank you, thank you again) and she said that it was so sudden and sever the hospital probably wouldn't have been able to fix her. This whole thing just sucks. So now all I can think about is when and from where did the bacteria come from.

I am not ready to put this on FB but you ladies have been so supportive and fantastic I wanted to let you know.

(((hugs))) I don't know what else to say. I can't imagine any answer would have been easy to hear when you so desperately just want to be holding your sweet Angela.

Wow, I never would have guessed something like that! I'm so sorry once again :-( I hope this doesn't come across as insensitive, cause I certainly don't mean it to be, but it would at least put my mind at ease a little bit that it wasn't something genetic and could possibly be preventable. Hopefully you can talk to some doctors and figure out how to prevent it in the future if you decide to try for another baby. You still have so much of my thoughts and prayers with you, Nicole! XOXOXO

That must have been such a strange experience to hear that. I'm sure nothing makes it better but at least you know now. Hopefully it will help in your journey to move past the pain and just enjoy the memories you have of her. I'm so sorry you are going through this.
