I am almost embarrassed to ask this, but do you wash MMB's hands?  I make my older son wash his all the time....before eating, after going to the potty, after playing with anything "dirty", etc.  I got to thinking the other day that I really should be washing Ryan's hands more now that he is A) crawling all over the place and B) eating finger foods.  I wipe them with a wet paper towel before meals, but that's about it except during his daily bath.  It's not like he's crawling around on a public floor, but still......  Just wondering:

1.  Do you wash MMB's hands?

2.  If so, HOW?  (It's not like I can easily stick his hands under the faucet.....I can't remember what we did when Hunter was this age!)

3.  If so, WHEN/HOW OFTEN?

Thanks!

Actually, I do wash Ryan's hands and he thinks it is the greatest thing! He laughs at the water running on his hands. I do one hand at a time and sing about "this is the way we wash our hands, wash our hands". I wash them first thing before and after meals. That's pretty much it, unless there are times like this morning when he wandered over to the toilet bowl and pulle dhimself up on it.... EWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW! I had just deep cleaned the toilet room (yes, the toilet is in it's own little room int he bathroom) last night, but STILL!!!

I wipe his hands pretty thoroughly with a wet washcloth after every meal. It just occured to me that it would probably make sense to do this before meals too. I've tried washing his hands under the faucet a few times, but it's really hard!

We don't. I guess we aren't big hand washers. I don't worry about germs. Perhaps rebelling from my childhood with my germophobic parents. The only time she gets wiped off is after a meal.
