He is getting a pair of cotton Underoos and a handcrafted sustainably forested hardwood toy truck with two wooden peg people that ride in it, made in England, that I found at a thrift store.

We will probably think of a few things he needs between now and the birthday, but will resist the urge to get him plastic corporate-media-franchise junk toys.

At least I hope we will!

We got Grace a Pocoyo DVD. She has been driving us crazy with the 2 Backyardigans she has so it's time for a new one! I also got her 3 puzzles from Leap Frog. It has numbers and animals. Im all about the educational stuff! She also got some clothes and toys and a Veggietales DVD (which i think i enjoyed more than she did!) from family members.

Anything I would recommend to parent of two year olds, we already own (the benefits of an older sibling). She really doesn't need anything so I imagine most of her gifts will come from family. My father made Lilly a baby a gorgeous baby cradle for her birthday. He attached a plaque that says something like "Made by Grandpa for Lilly on her 2nd birthday". They are getting her a full assortment of baby doll stuff to go with the cradle.

Lilly will also get new Doodle Pros - a large one for the house and a travel one for the car. She LOVES this toy and can no longer use the one she has.

Since she's uber possessive I think it's time for her own couch/chair. I'm leaning towards a Pottery barn one though she really likes the Disney Princess Slumber Sofa.

I ordered the little people town playset, it has a lot of features. My mom is getting Connor this tunnel, house playing thing from costco. lol

Will really likes it best when mom and dad both sit down and play a game with him.  He loves his baseball tee and basketball game.  So we got him Gator Golf and Monstor Madness bowling.  Also Uncle Miltons Moon, a larger nightlight in his room that shows different phases of the moon.  He LOVES the MOON!  Oh yes and one can not forget the Elmo slippers and Care for Me Elmo. My mom is getting him dress up hats.
