We are having Wyatt's 2nd bday part on Nov 1st. I'll be 36 weeks pregnant then and we were afraid if we waited much closer to his birthday he might end up missing out...although now I'll probably go to 41 weeks! :)

So I have like 1.5 weeks 'til the party and I just realized I don't know what kind of food I'm serving! We have Elmo themed decorations and plates, but short of gold fish crackers I can't think of anything else that would go with the theme...not that I'm really concerned about it all going together though.

So what are you ladies having at your AD's party? At this point I'm going to order some Pizzas from Costco and get some fruit and veggie platters...but I'm not opposed to making something if it's easy to do the day ahead of time and kid friendly.

There will be between 20-30 people at the party...about 75% adults...and I have a small house so people will have to sit on the couch, stairs, table, etc. to eat.

We are having Connor's Birthday at Round Table pizza and I was thinkng of bringing some carrot sticks and cut up some watermelon, Connor loves both of those things. Costco also has pre sliced apples, they come in 8 bags, but are only $5.99 in my state. I can't really think of anything else, am curious what others might add.

I think we are in the same state...WA right? ;)

I just found out Wyatt likes raw carrot sticks the other day! Yeah a veggie he will eat! I've been trying cooked and he wouldn't touch them...but give him a raw one and gobbles it up. He likes apples to so I'll have to check into that at Costco...sounds cheaper than getting a whole fruit tray.

It is super cheap! I always forget where everyone lives, lol, where in WA? I'm in Gig Harbor. I get the carrots from Costco also, both the apples and carrots are organic, come in bags and are $5.99. It's such a good deal, I send my hubby off with them for his lunches, it's a lot cheaper then buying a pound or two of apples. There are like 30 bags of personal carrot sticks, I might just stick the bags in a bowl and let people grab their own bag if they want, with the flu going around it might not be a bad idea. Are you having his Birthday on The first? That's when are party is planned, good luck with the party!

I live up by Everett but my BIL lives near Gig Harbor.

We are having Wyatt's party on the 1st too. That way I'll only be 36 weeks pregnant so it shouldn't be as bad as waiting 'til I'm 38 weeks like we had originally planned.
