The kids had so many Halloween events scheduled this year. Lilly wore the bear costume DS wore his second Halloween with the arms and legs rolled up. We ended up taking Lilly to a party thrown for children by the city. She loved the dance troupes but hated the crowds. DH ended up carrying her much of the evening. For some reason they don't celebrate Halloween in central Ohio but rather have Beggars Night a few days before hand. Families sit in their driveways with firepits and the family pets while the children tour the neighborhoods - it's quite the neighborly event. Lilly said trick or treat and thank you at each house, that was TOO cute! Thanks for looking.
Did AD go trick or treating? To a party? How did they enjoy the whole experience of dressing up?
Miles went to two parties and did a little trick or treating at one of the Malls. He did NOT love putting on a costume this year, but we finally got him to wear the frog costume on Halloween. For the parties, he went as Super Miles. Stella was a cow. The last pic is one of my favorites. He was SOOO mad when we first put it on.
We took Collin trick-or-treating with his big brother for the full 2 hours! He did great, though it took him a while to realize we weren't going in to these people's homes to visit - just walking to the porch get candy and leave, lol. For the 1st 45 mins he would stand at their door and look at us like we were crazy when we told him it was time to go. Too sweet! =) Here are a few pics, he was a dragon.
