does any other AD's have their own name for things?

my name is michelle and my AD calls me what sounds like "ella"

she doesnt say 'here' she says 'nee'. she calls her grandma, mom and her grandpa dad. so funny!
she calls my brother aya(instead of ari even tho she has called him the correct way in the past).
do ur ADs have any funny names for things?

Mine calls her Grandmas (or anyone who looks like a grandma) Munga and she Calls my Dad Bian, his name is Brian. She has clearly said Grandpa in the past though. Other then that she usually calls things by their name or pretty close to it. Her Soother is "soos" which she made up.

Yes he does.

blankie is still "geegee" or gee, Daddy is sometimes, dada, sometimes gaga, I'm only get mama when he's really upset and last night I think he was calling for me and he said gaga or geh geh.

That's about all I can think of but my 15 year old had a lot of strange words for things.

Here's just a few of our favorites: chips/bush, bugs/deads (that one was because I pointed to a dead bug in the pool so from then on, bugs were deads. LOL

And once we saw a kid from down the street ride by on his bike so I said, there's J.J. (that was his name) and from then on bikes of any kind were called J.J.'s. And cars were "hot bus".

This is too funny!

Grace says heee for here. When she wants me to hold her she says "hold it", she calls her dad daddy and me mama. Her grandmas are mamo and yayi (yayi would be my mom's name Raidy). All the older people who look like grandmas and grandpas are called memaw and papaw. Also she calls motorcycles or anything that sounds like it a "boy" because theres a boy by her grandmas who has a dirt bike..and he rides up and down and she used to stand at the window looking for him..i would say that's the boy down the street...so she thinks the motorcycle is a boy! She also calls all little girls Addie (her cousins name).

Lately she has been saying sentences like "see you later" "there she is" and momma, i shut the door" ! It is hilarious!!!!!!
