Well, I'm here. I'm getting geared up for fair week and all that fun stuff :).

Jessica's turning 15 today. WOW where does the time go? I met her daddy when she was only 3! She's grown so fast.

My class is going on a field trip to a pumpkin patch Wednesday. I am not looking forward to it. The last thing I need is another fall like last week and I have a couple of kids who run away, so I'm panicked about them running off. We'll get through it though. It'll be fun watching them pick out pumpkins. Too cute really. It's something I wish more parents would attend just so they can see their kid's face. It's an experience to not miss out on!

I hope this week is better than last. Not that excitement is a bad thing, but I could use a nice and easy week.

Me? I'm SO looking forward to dealing with Ruby all day today....while I'm sick with the flu. Oh yes, it sounds FANTASTIC! She'll probably start walking today! So my question is, do I still get the flu shot? I'm 95% sure that's what I'm dealing with...but there are many strains, so I probably should,huh?

Other than that, busy week at work, lots to get done before the Auditors arrive on the 19th. Busy nights at home cleaning in prep for my parents arrival.

Oh great, Ruby's playing with her high-chair tray. I hope she's in a good mood all day. I won't be able to handle a fussy babe....earplugs...

i failed my 1 hour glucose test, so now i get to do a 3 hour test this week. yay... i had this really bad feeling i was going to fail. i felt horrid during that hour and lately anything sweet has really made me feel bad. i'm not a big sweets eater, but i have been having cravings all pregnancy and lately i have regretted the times i have caved into the cravings. i hope i pass the 3 hour test, but i have this really bad feeling about it. i've never had GD before, so we'll see.

so where is everyone? Amy is always here during the week. I haven't seen much of Liz either. I hope all is well with them.

 

Hi!  It's me - I've been slack'n the last few weeks.  Thought I'd check in and say  hi:)  Life has been busy!  We are just about ready for our new addition!  His nursery is set up, most of his clothes washed...car seat ready to be installed.  Now - if I can just avoid getting sick!  Everywhere I turn around someone has H1N1.  sigh. 

This weekend we are going to take the boys to a farm for hay rides, slides & pumpkins:)  They will love it!  We will continue to decorate the front porch for Halloween - one of my favorite holidays!

Amy, I can't believe how close you are to your due date. That's so exciting!

I've been busy planning our wedding reception. We have a date and a place now, so I feel like I've made a lot of progress! I've been busy at work too, trying to get everything in order so the place doesn't fall apart when I leave. I'm interviewing for a dance teacher to replace me and it's really difficult. I don't feel like anyone is good enough! But I think that's because I don't want to leave. I mean I do, I'm tired of living in NYC and I don't want to raise a child here, but it's hard leaving the school that my friend & I started. It's been sort of like our child that we've spent the past 5 years raising.
