Does anybody else's baby act great all day and then have a terrible time every night when they are uncontrollably fussy?  My 16 day old just started having a meltdown between the hours of 7-9 for about and hour and a half then just stops and goes to sleep.  She is pretty good all the rest of the time.  The doc said it is not colic b/c it would be longer.  My husband thinks it is indigestion but that doesn't make since if it is only during that time. Why is this?  Any thoughts would be great!

Vivian's fussy time is also in the evenings.  I would say hers typically lasts a little longer though.  I just know to expect to hold and rock her during those hours.  Also I know she's going to want to nurse, come off, nurse, come off, etc.  She finally gives in and goes to sleep for a few hours.  I think fussy periods are very normal for babies this age.  (She is 5 weeks.)

My little boy is fussy to between the hours of 6-8:30. He just wants to be held, nursed and rocked. I think this is the time of day when they miss being in the womb and are feeling the most gas in their tummies.

yep - Lily is calm and relaxed all day and then from about 8-930 every night she starts with the sceaming and fussing - my mom says every baby needs a fussy period every day and Lily's happens to be at night - doesn't bother me in the slightest - with my first DD I was a wreck when it happend convinced something was wrong - now I know it really is lung exercise for Lily because she is fed, burped and changed when it starts and I know it will end - then when it does we eat again and she goes to bed for the night.

Molly is 11 days old and she has her fussy time from 10pm-12 or so.  i know she is fed, changed, etc so i just hold her, rock her and hum or sing to her.  she will calm down for periods during those hours but not for long.  then she just suddenly falls asleep and will sleep for hours.  i feel bad for her but at the same time i know that is all i can do for her.  hopefully it will stop soon!!!
