ok...so my doctor says its collic and my mil says he's just a fussy baby because he doesn't have signs of collic...

he cries all day! if he's not in my arms or being held all day he just cries...i can't put him down at all or he starts to scream bloody murder! sometimes he'll even cry while i'm holding him! he's not consulable sometimes...he starts daycare in 2 days and i'm so afraid they won't keep him because all he does is cry! do you think its possible that he could be spoiled already? i know thats not supposed to be possible...but i'm just so unsure about that....his worst times for crying are between 4pm and 6pm and by 6pm we're trying to give him his bed time bath.... HOWEVER, he sleeps like a rock ALL night!

is it ok to let them cry? and if not. how do you stop them? i've tried food, burping him, diaper changes, wraping him up, clothing changes, taking his clothes off, holding him, rocking him, walking him....what is possibly left?

is anyone else going threw this? or can you help me?!

Take a deep breath....I am sorry you have to deal with this.  He is not spoiled already...something is going on. Babies cry for a reason at this age.  A couple questions....are you bottle feeding or breastfeeding.  Either way he may be allergic to the milk.  I have a friend that bf and her baby screamed and screamed.  The finally figured out that he had a dairy intolerance and she had to cut out dairy...he turned into the happiest baby.  If that is not the issue then have you thought about taking him to a chiropractor.  My dh is a chiro and we have had many babies come in with colic (along with ear infections, colds, ect) and after a couple treatments their parents were amazed that their little ones aren't screaming all day anymore.  Babies can become misaligned through the birth process and this is their way of letting you know they don't feel good. Does he keep his head turned primarily one way (only to the left or right)?  If you do take him to a chiropractor, make sure it is one that has taken care of babies before.  Hopefully these tips will help. Let me know if you want more info on pediatric chiropractic...
