What do you ladies think about a situation where NCP is unemployed and refuses (out of pride, perhaps) to file to collect unemployment benefits?
Should CS be suspended or reduced?
Should NCP be forced to file for benefits and pay CS based on that figure?
Should NCP pay mandated CS $ out of saved funds or other household money?
I think the NCP should be forced to file for benefits, and the CS be based on that figure. If he refuses, and has other funds (savings, etc), CS should come from that money. I don't mind CS being reduced when times get tough - but if someone is unwilling to get unemployment, they are basically saying they are unwilling to do what they have to do to provide for their kid/s - and in that case, I would not grant a reduction.
