I'm engaged.

Yep, there it is. I said yes and that means that I caved to the cookies on the dark side. Real life Stepmommy here I come.

I though that would make my SM friends happy :) And Burnie, you already played the dirge for me. Encore?

The proposal was amazing. The man is superfantastic. I am a happy woman!!

The funniest part was that his EX got engaged the day after and none of us knew in advance what was going on. That was actually a damn funny conversation. So far nothing but happiness and glitter farts from all the adults. My kid is happy. The 11 year old is happy. The 14 year old believes we have ruined the world, ended world peace, and created world hunger all in one swoop. Whatever. She will get over it. Some other teen disaster will happen in about 30 seconds :)

I'm pushing for a very, very small wedding at a beautiful location, like Hawaii or Jamaica or Fiji. Seriously, I would get married and send postcards to EVERYONE...but my mother has already turned on me.

We're having the big church wedding. He's never been married - and BD and I shotgunned it at the courthouse :)
