I consider the main daycare teachers in the same kind of class as elem. teachers, scout leaders, etc. for gifting. I liked having kids help me make gifts for these people, like cookie mix in a jar, pumpkin bread, decorated gloves or tree ornaments or small plants, etc.
It never occurred to me to gift the daycare owner/director, though. I figure the tuition was enough.
