The Parent Toolbox

I have just learned about the Nurtured Heart program this morning, have been reading all morning and just ordered the book, 6 hour dvd and workbook. My question is do we need a coach too or can we start here. Should be ok and maybe only look to a coach if we need additional support and help, or what is your advice and opinion.

I look forward to finally starting a day not in tears and having destroyed my kids self-esteem.

Welcome~  I don't know much about the "coach" aspect..but I get a lot of online support and feedback from boards like this!  And the BOOk ..OMG the book..it was so enlightening for me.  I had started to read it once a few years back...and then put it donw..but picked it up again ..I think it is almost two years ago now...and what an eye opener.  Did you get Transforming the difficult child".???  If so ..when yous tart reading it...post a few questions..comments...we can throw around ideas and such !

The Nurtured Heart Approach is amazing!  It's worth the effort - 

 Do you need a coach to start?  No.   Most coaches require that you read the first 5 chapters of Transforming or watch the DVD before they'll work with you.
