So I know you're not *supposed to drink alcoholic beverages, but one glass of red wine? Someone tell me I can have a glass of wine... I hear that an occassional glass of wine isnt harmful. I just want some validation. I'm at 12 weeks today. Does this make me a raging alcoholic? I haven't had ANY. And it's soooooo goooood....
eeeemmmm... Same here. I'm 32 weeks and have not had a glass of wine yet, but had my urges... I understand how you are feeling, but I've waited this long so another 7-8 weeks won't hurt... good luck on this one
I've also heard that ANY drugs or alcohol cannot possibly be good for baby. And there are no statistics to prove that it IS okay to consume any amount of alcohol during pregnancy.
Of course it is your choice, but no way would I even drink one glass of wine, just like I would not even do one line of coke or smoke one pack of cigarettes (in fact I wouldn't even smoke "one" cigarette, let alone a pack.)
I feel the SAME way. I'm in my 6th week and I'm going to have a glass tonight. I even blogged about this a few days ago at http://mypreggersjourney.blogspot.com/
Well, I'm not smoking - cigarettes, crack, weed, what have you. And I'm certainly not planning on doing any cocaine, heroin, LSD... hell, I'm not even taking a Tylenol to ease my migraines.
I think that comparing a glass of wine to a line of cocaine is a little far-fetched.
