Two- and Three-Year-Olds

Hi all! My nephew will be 2 1/2 at Christams time and I'm looking to find a great gift for him for Christmas. I've been looking at the Imaginext pirate ship, fire station, jungle etc but I'm not sure if he's actually old enough to play with that type of toy. He does love to play with his 8 yr old brother's toys and he's a pretty smart little guy. He already has most of the FP little people toys. Any suggestions for a gift he'll really llove? I'd like to keep the price under $75.

Logan was the same age last christmas.. we got him a tool bench with tools, dinosaurs, bath stuff (markers, color drops, ect), books, trucks, and a sled.

Logan has had some of the imaginex toys and has liked them a lot. If he's into it, why not?

This year we got Logan a train set and some books. There are a ton of other things I want to get him... but I'll probably stop at recreating this Tonka book that he has... It has a tanker truck that picks up milk from the farm... so Logan has thought up that he wants the fischer price little people's farm... and a tanker truck. I found some great tanker trucks online... so I will probably do those as well. :)
