How was a halloween? and your weekend?

Good grief! It's NOVEMBER!!! Where has the year gone?!

Halloween was good...cold and rainy but it was still fun. After Trick or Treating we went to some friends' house. All the kids gorged themselves on candy and ran around the house like crazy people!  We had a couple of late nights in a row so I'm glad that we got to turn the clocks back last night!! GM Ladies. Glad to hear that your halloween was great. I don't know how I should categorize mine. Thursday I took sick day off because A was running temps and hda severe chest congestion. So all my thursday work piled up for Friday. Friday morning, she didn't get better so we took her to a walkin clinic. Doctor assured that it was just a viral infection and should be fine with her cough in 3-4days. We bought a puffer for her which we still have to use. She felt better on Saturday evening, I made her wear the butterfly costume, went for a short trick/treat, she loved it, I captured around 40-50 photos with many other kids who were dressed nicely. We came back home and A enjoyed treating other kids with candies. We had a lovely evening. My FIL took nice photos of me and DH(sad story coming later). DH took my FIL out for drinks, while I fed A dinner and put her to sleep at 9.30 on Saturday. I was supposedly work since I had thursday's pending work and Friday's work to compensate my 2hr visit to clinic. Something triggered me to see the photos in my laptop, while I connected my camera and downloaded the photos..boom my laptop crashed(this is my work laptop which is also my personal diary) and all photos in my camera got deleted..HOW CRAZY IS THAT? I cried, cried and cried..Tried all possible ways to see some restoration and here I am with NO halloween photos of A to show off or to share with friends.We have also lost the best photo of me and DH (DH applied a face mask to look like ghost)..everything lost and I felt miserable. I tried fixing my laptop the whole of saturday night but in vain. DH felt miserable too. Sunday I worked for 2hrs from DH's laptop, then visited our family friend's house for lunch (they are my FIL's friends too) had a good time there by watching a movie, still trying to forget what happened with the halloween day (Doesn't this sound like a ghost activity??).

Sorry it was a big vent. I have noone to take this out and I shared with you all. I know I can dress up A again to take her costume picture, but losing the other photos of lovely kids dressing up and other makes me feel miserable!!

My immediate plan is to get a comp system for my house and an external hard drive to store all the photos that I treasure!!

Halloween went well here. It was crazy cold though. We went to a halloween parade... in winter jackets and everything.. lol thankfully I brought blankets!! We needed them! We stayed for about 1/2 of the parade) I heard it went on for 3 hours!!! DH took Logan Trick-o-treating... and they had fun. I have tons of pics too..

I'm working from home today.. yeah!! Its almost my lunch break... so I'm going to do some quick chores. Logan had an accident last night.. so I need to pull his bedding and wash them. BTW.. I concider Logan 100% potty trained now. he only has accidents 1-2 times per month at night.... but he's peeing and pooping on the potty 100% of the time during the day... including pooping at daycare too! yeah!!!
