What kind of things do you do that you swore you would never do as a parent?

I routinely forget to be the Tooth Fairy. Sigh. I know. Total doh moment. I do it every blasted time. You know its bad when your daughter gets asked "did you get something from the tooth fairy ?" And she says in her darling little angel voice "The tooth fairy runs a day behind."

Yeah, I'm that mom.

I also swore I'd never make them stay outside. Which isn't necessarily a "mistake" persay...but still...something I said was inhumane. Then I realized that being forced to submit my already bleeding ears to another rendition of "Old McDonald had a Monster Farm" is also inhumane. GO OUTSIDE. What ? You don't want to ? Ok, so go scrub the toilet with a toothbrush. Where'd you go ? Yep. Outside. Ha ha.

Hahaha! Mine aren't old enough for the tooth fairy yet but I am sure that is coming! LOL My son doesn't forget ANYTHING! I swore I wouldn't let them snack on cookies, etc. But when I am in the store and it is around a snack time or a meal time and they are getting restless sometimes I do. Or at home. *Sigh* They are both so skinny though so I don't worry but I try to keep it more of a treat. Also I swore I wouldn't be THAT mom yelling embarrassing stuff at my kid but I have grown to be that mom just like most others. "Do you have to go peepee or poops?" shouldn't really come out of my mouth in public but sometimes it is important to know. Or "honey I know you want to go to Mickey's house but he isn't home now" OR "I know you want to go to the bounce house place but it is closed today"

I will think of more, I promise!
