Hi Mollie, thanks for posting, I'm Kim. I will stick around because I need all the advice and expertise from you long time mothers. It's hard being an older mom, because all of my friends have kids grown and graduating from college. so it's hard for them to remember having a baby and so many things have changed in the last 20 years, so many more things to worry about.
Anyway, I wanted to mention that I am a die hard Miami Dolphins fan! I know you just moved to Florida, and are probably a Cowboy's fan (or maybe not a fan of football at all), but in case you are, it's good to meet someone from Florida. I've always wanted to go Tarpon fishing in the Keys, maybe when I retire. I'm originally from Seattle (well, actually way south of Seattle, Puyallup, WA) and DH and I decided to move to Montana so I could fish in uncrowded rivers and he could hunt in uncrowded forests. We love it in Montana! I love the snow (white christmas!) more than the sun. But I do hate the forest fires we have every year! We live right up against national forest on 39 acres and I'm always afraid our house will burn up one day!
I've always wanted a little boy, because I'm such a tomboy and I ended up with a baby girl, but she is so sweet! I love having a baby in my arms but I also can't wait for her to be your daughter's age so we can have fun playing and having mommy daughter time. I am going to ttc one more time this fall, and you gave me hope that I'll be able to do this at the age of 42-43! I just hope I have one more healthy egg left!
Well I have to get back to work. I wish I was a SAHM, but bills must be paid. So I buy lottery tickets hoping someday I'll get to stay at home! We have to drive 100 miles a day round trip to work! luckily DH and I work the same shift so we carpool, but man the gas prices are killing us out here in the boonies!!!
Talk to you later..
Kim
