Now that dh and I are facing the empty-nest thing we try to eat out a bit more often - every week or two. Since they boys are long past the fast food stage we rarely do fast food anymore with the exception of picking up Subway for a quick lunch sometime. We usually do casual - Applebees, Olive Garden, Buffalo Wild Wings, etc.
2. When you do eat out is it at a nice restaurant, casual dining or fast food? Casual dining; preferrably not a chain. Usually runs about $10-12 each including tip and tax.
So how are you doing with the empty nest? Are you handling it ok? I often wonder what things would be like for me if I didnt have Gracie. Just wondering about you.
1. How often do you eat out?Since we have been here and displaced we have eaten out ALOT. I love it, but it does get pretty expensive. I was just wondering how other families put eating out into their budget. I would like to eat out at least once a weekend if possible.
2. When you do eat out is it at a nice restaurant, casual dining or fast food?There are so many restaurants here in Destin we have alot of choices. We definately love the regulars like Olive Garden, Chili's and Fridays.. but DH loves to go to the really nice restaurants too. Of course, Gracie loves the fast food(McDonalds, Chick-fil-a)!
