Thanks Traci, I guess you never realize how you help someone. But, don't worry, I will still be in to check and listen, offer support and stuff. This is a cause I believe in passionately. Meg probably moreso than I, inthat she's much more vocal, me more quiet. However, I don't hesitate to help when I can. I haven't heard from Meg in ages and I miss her too. I am sure she's having a bunch of stress. The first year after graduating (from anywhere, really) nursing school to become an RN is a tremendous amount of responsibility, stress and not easy. It often seems that nurses 'eat their young'.
Anyway, I have no good ideas about livening things up. What is needed is new folks. I'm not sure how to attract them. I have no idea how the ivillage tech/marketing folks do anything, but perhaps more or better links, search engine links etc. I think that most of us have really come to deal with out decisions and our emotions pretty well. (not ever over, but healthy at least)
I'd be happy to add whatever I could too.
I've been really busy too. I am still working PT, may as well be a single mom still, coaching boys hardball, now ds has made a tournament team so its even worse, both are on swim team, I *just* this week completed physical therapy. The knee is improving but it does take a very long time for this to be back to almost normal. (Oh, I forgot to tell the ivillage folks about that, another "excuse" for my absence! Major surgery! LOL) anyway, that's just the tip of the iceberg. Its been great to get back into the workforce too. I do feel like I am really helping people. We got a new puppy, My big ole dog will be 10 on the 14th of July. Ijust don't want to be in the middle of the woods without an adult dog around.
So, I've only taken off the hat, not exited.
Take care, love jan
