Adoption

Well Ladies,

It went better than we thought and we had the most amazing conversation with S.  She said at the end of the call that she wanted to move forward and called our attorney immediately after.  We are going to be near her in 2 weeks and she has a Dr appt that she has invited us to.  This is all such a whirlwind and I am spinning.  But the ride is so wonderful.

Our call was calm and just played out like we were old friends.  Instant connection.  We never struggled with what to say next.  She wants us in the delivery room and even said Madison could be with us. 

I have every emotion running through me and cannot believe that we are the ones who have been chosen.  I love this feeling. 

She is due Dec 21 so we only have 7 weeks left...time will sure go fast.

I'll keep you all posted and cannot wait until I get to introduce our newest member of the family~

We were 27 mos from start to baby-in-arms with Patrick's process and it seemed never-ending, filled with frustration and us ready to throw in the towel.  It appears you are on about the same timetable and will have a 2009 baby to announce to our adoption board soon! 

I am so moved this morning to hear this news for you, Danielle! 

So glad the night went well!!!!  I know the wait has been very long, it looks like 2009 IS the year your dreams come true!!!!
